WEGER for Production – W4P

The W4P is a software project recognized as process innovation by the South Tyrol region. Its goal is to implement digital networking to optimize the value creation process. Through digitalization, previously separate processes are united to create innovative process synthesis with synergy effects. The interfaces have been optimized or newly generated to ensure efficient information processing, as well as fast and, most importantly, relevant data and knowledge transfer. This is an important measure in the context of Industry 4.0, where different parts of the organization or individual production steps are networked through digitalization, ultimately resulting in improved productivity, competitiveness, and future viability.

Specifically, the generated digital information is processed in real time by WGK in the following manufacturing process and directly fed into the production process. The key factor here is the parameterization of the design department, meaning that algorithms and rules are integrated into innovative software. This allows for the automatic processing of the first batch size while simultaneously maintaining and optimizing quality. The fundamental parameters of the construction process are generated by the WGK software, which is BIM-compatible. This creates a continuous digital process that is unique in the industry and generates a significant competitive advantage.
